Give them the tools they need to succeed
You’re employing talented people – but how well are you using their skills?
WhosOffice empowers businesses to understand every person in your organisation, and make sure the best mix of people are on shift at all times. Creating employee records also enables you to track their progress, keeping an eye on annual leave entitlements and other perks of the job, to support staff retention and progress.
WhosOffice is the perfect platform to capture workforce data. Every person can be set up as an individual user in our software, so you can manage their contributions more effectively:
Each record can be customised according to a worker’s job function, location and time zone, to make sure they are operating within the terms of their contract.

As each staff member is an individual user, you control their access to the WhosOffice system – and who is involved in any decision-making.
For example, workers may require different approvers for leave and overtime requests, depending on their department.
Similarly, team leaders and managers need the ability to run reports and analysis, whereas general employees only require basic information. WhosOffice tailors the features they can use when they log-in with their office credentials.
As your company grows, you need to be careful with admin requirements.
Our platform includes an intelligent spreadsheet template, so you can bulk-import data to quickly set-up new users. This includes identifying specialist skills and roles, such as whether they are first aid qualified, or if they have been DBS checked.
Yes! User experience is critical to WhosOffice, as we want to make staff management simpler for our customers. So we’ve created useful features and intuitive dashboards to make our platform easy to negotiate.
Customisation is another pivotal WhosOffice feature. WhosOffice is a comprehensive platform for planning shifts, managing staff leave and overtime, documenting HR processes and more. But we appreciate that not everyone wants or needs to see everything. That’s why we’ve created three access levels for each system feature: yes, no and read-only.
To keep staff data secure, all WhosOffice customers can set access levels for employees. So general users get to access useful tools such as the online holiday calendar and their personal profiles, but they can’t see sensitive information relating to their performance or their colleagues.
For managerial staff, HR and senior decision-makers, WhosOffice has advanced tools for essential business processes such as creating schedules, allocating tasks, approving annual leave requests, measuring and reporting on KPIs and managing employee progress.
We encourage WhosOffice users to create employee profiles for each member of staff. This is a central, online record containing valuable information – including their emergency contact details, industry qualifications, DBS checks, first aid training and annual leave allowance.
You can also use WhosOffice user profiles to set exact permissions as to what parts of the system employees can and cannot access, and whether they have read-only or editing rights.
WhosOffice is a cloud-based tool, which makes it easy to add new users to the system as you grow, and new people join the company.
We also have bulk import tools for adding multiple team members – for instance, if your company is involved in a merger or acquisition.
We also have useful information available online on how to get started with WhosOffice, to ensure you get rapid ROI from our software.
